Statement from the DI SIC Chair
I’m pleased to present DI SIC’s annual report, which highlights some of the achievements of the past 12 months.
Last year, we had the opportunity to advance three significant areas:
relationships between industry data strategies
metadata for describing industry data sources
Data Interoperability Framework.
Taken together, these areas of work and achievement support the industry in managing and exploiting data.
During the year, we have also continued our strong working relationship with the Rail Data Marketplace (RDM). It was rewarding to see outputs from the metadata research being implemented in the RDM during the year.
Looking to the future, we will be focusing our efforts on the development of the early Data Interoperability Framework agreed in 2024/25.
