Our research explored how enzymes can degrade leaf film on railway tracks. In the future, enzymes could improve adhesion treatments leading to a safer and more reliable railway. Our revised track worker safety rules, phase out unassisted lookouts. They not only improve safety but also unlock the opportunity to save approximately £3.8m over five years by reducing incidents, injuries, and delays. Delve deeper ❯
